I’m your coach, Dale Hayward. I’m an award-winning stop-motion director and co-founder of See Learn Academy and See Creature Animation, a Montreal-based studio known for its handcrafted storytelling and collaborations with brands like Hot Wheels, Nike, and CNESST, as well as auteur projects such as Bone Mother and If I was God with the National Film Board of Canada. With over 20 years of experience in animation from animating on Netflix’s The Little Prince to directing festival-winning films and commercial campaigns, I bring not only deep industry knowledge, but also a passion for mentoring the next generation of animators and creators. This program combines my lived experience of building a career with structured coaching exercises, so you can skip the trial-and-error and step confidently into your own path in stop-motion.
